So, today was our big day. Of course, neither one of us slept great lastnight because we were so nervous about this morning's ultrasound. The whole way to our 2 1/2 hour ultrasound, we jammed to our new nursery rhymes cd box set. Yes, we bought a whole box set.....crazy I know, but we both like to sing (even though we can't carry a tune at all) and we figured it would be fun for the kids. So, to try it out, we popped it in the cd player on the way to the doctor. That was a sight for sore eyes...........just picture it, two women, one so pregnant that she looks like she is going to pop any moment, and the other just crazy looking......driving down the street, in rush hour traffic, with the windows open, jammin' and singing to YANKEE DOODLE DANDEE, with no kids in the car. WHAT HAS OUR LIFE BECOME!?!?!?
Anyways, after fighting traffic for an hour, I dropped Ali off, (because we were late again) sped into the parking garage and ran into the hospital just in time to find Ali being called back.
I'm sure you all want to know if they are growing at a good pace and are healthy ....the answer is YES! Once again, so far, so good.
Heartbeats were A-141, B-147, C-147
Weights were A-15ounces, B-1LB, 2ounces, C-1 LB, 1ounce
A is still the smallest one, but he/she is still in the normal range. All three were so active today, kicking and moving around. It's amazing how close they are to each other. We were told to look away at two different times because both A and B had their legs wide open. If we don't want to know their genders, then we need to make sure we keep our eyes off certain areas. It was like they wanted us to know. You would think that it would be easy to spot the boy, but the nurse said it's just as easy to notice the girl.
Ali's has been feeling them inside of here more and more lately. The bigger they get, the bigger their arms and legs get, and the better they chance you have of feeling them.
As I type this she said she was feeling them jump around inside. They must have loved the SANDWICH MILL sandwich that Ali had for lunch. (thanks Mamma Kathy) I actually felt them myself just by putting my hand against her belly.....you can feel little kicks. It's so unbelievable. Sometimes we really can't believe it's happening. Could we really have created these three little lives??? So amazing.
HERE ARE SOME PICTURES.......THEY LOVE THE CAMERA
That is all for now..............from here on out we go to the doctor EVERY WEEK.
Until next time!
